Oxygen Delivery Driver

Position Description
The responsibilities of this position are to deliver oxygen and other respiratory equipment and supplies to patients’ homes.

Reports To
Director of Operations

Major Responsibilities

  1. Service
    • Organizes the delivery schedule so that there is efficient use of time and use of the vehicle.
    • Complete regular vehicle inspections.
    • Clean and maintain home oxygen equipment.
    • Assist with transfilling oxygen tanks.
    • Carry the on-call pager for after hour emergencies.
    • Delivers to the correct address.
    • Identify additional patient needs in the home.
    • Obtains signatures and other required information accurately from patients.
    • Collects payment when required.
    • Communicates regularly with other staff to arrange for proper deliveries and payment collection.
  2. Other
    • Perform all other related duties as directed by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalence is required. A good driving record must be maintained and knows how to navigate the area. State license and Commercial Drivers License with the HAZMAT are required. The employee must be able to get along with a variety of customers and cordially provide them with assistance. The employee should exhibit good grooming in working with the customers. A combination of education and related experience are used to meet minimum qualifications. In addition, the employee must comply with regular and continuing education and training provided and scheduled by Kohll’s.
