Position Description
The responsibilities of this position are to respond to telephone inquiries and visits from Homecare patients and referral sources, to provide information on equipment, supplies, and services, and assist walk-in patients with selection of equipment, supplies, and services.

HME Director and Chief Executive Officer
Major Responsibilities:
- Patient Processing
- Process telephone orders by preparing patient paperwork.
- Verify insurance and other methods of payment.
- Check all completed paperwork to ensure proper documentation received is accurate and efficiently entered.
- Enter data, billing information, and delivery information for orders placed.
- Orders
- Communicate regularly with physicians, clinics, hospitals, athletic organizations, and personnel within the Kohll's Pharmacy and Homecare organization. This communication is to keep others informed regarding the products and services offered and to instruct Home Medical Equipment Representatives about products and services, including proper selection and fitting of products.
- Place orders to manufacturers for supplies and equipment needed by patients.
- Receive inventory and ensure proper placement of supplies and equipment within each location.
- Coordination
- Maintain stock of products within Kohll's Pharmacy and Homecare locations and at hospitals, clinics, and other health care locations.
- Provide written and oral communication describing the latest developments in the Sports Therapy field and how Kohll's Pharmacy and Homecare can accommodate the needs of individual patients.
- Design a holistic approach to patient care including orthopedic appliances and supplies, nutritional information, supplies, and services, and other products and services associated with the conditions of patients.
- Organize the delivery and setup and pickup of equipment, supplies, and services with appropriate personnel.
- Assure that deliveries and set-ups will be performed in a timely manner.

- Perform all other related duties as directed by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
College background in a field related to Sports Therapy is required. There must be a desire to help people and a continuing desire to learn new things to expand personal and professional growth. The employee must have an understanding of the process of basic operations, duties, and responsibilities, and a willingness to apply these. A combination of education and related experience are used to meet minimum qualifications. In addition, the employee must comply with regular and continuing education and training provided and scheduled by Kohll’s.
